An escape room and live video coverage will form the basis of the campaign promoting TNT, a new TV channel that will be available in Poland from October 2015. The ambient-digital campaign, prepared by the advertising agency Biuro Podróży Reklamy, will take place on 6 October, the day the TV channel will be launched. It aims to get viewers interested in the station’s programme offer and to encourage them to follow the fate of the characters in the TV series The Last Ship.
The ambient activities prepared by Biuro Podróży Reklamy encompass the preparation of an escape room which will be located in the centre of Warsaw. Pairs of participants who have declared their willingness to take part in the game and registered via the website, will be invited to test their abilities to escape from the closed room. During the ambient activity, participants will be able to try their hand at the game free of charge. The pair who will manage to escape from the room in the shortest time, will be rewarded with Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 LTE tablets. The escape room will be available for participants from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the Golden Terraces shopping centre in Warsaw. Participants will also be able to register for the game via Facebook.
Biuro Podróży Reklamy’s idea to create the escape room is a direct reference to the plot of TNT’s flagship TV series, The Last Ship, which has gained immense popularity all over the world and will be broadcast by the station on Sundays. The main characters of the series are trapped on board the US navy ship as a result of a mysterious epidemic that hit the world. Belonging to few living representatives of the human race, they must find a vaccine that will save the humankind. Both the interior and exterior of the room resemble a ship room and the riddles prepared for participants refer to the script of the series. Participants’ attempts will have live coverage via TNT’s YouTube channel, with comments on TNT’s Facebook . fanpage.
Advertising activities will be conducted on YouTube and Facebook. as part of the campaign.
TNT TV channel will be available in Poland from 6 October 2015. Its television programming will be based on well-known blockbusters of the greatest Hollywood film studios as well as series produced by TNT. The channel will be broadcast in HD quality and will be on offer of such TV operators as Cyfrowy Polsat, Vectra and NC+.
