MiniMini, the TV channel for the young children, is taking part in the plebiscite Telekamery 2011 (Telecameras) organised by Tele Tydzień (Tele Week) in the category: Children’s Channel. The statuette is awarded on behalf of the audience by Tele Tydzień – one of the main TV guide in Poland. Viewers can vote for their favourite channel by sending an sms with a special code. The category for the best Children Channel has been introduced in 2010.

A video advertising the MiniMini channel was uploaded on youtube.com. It is made in the form of an election announcement and it shows a 2-year-old girl styled as a moustached statesman with a hunting hat. The small ‘politician’, referring to the election rhetoric, is appealing to grownups about making an informed choice when voting for the best Children’s Channel. The Tele Tydzień’s Telekamery 2011 Gala will take place on February the 7th. The transmission of the Gala will be transmitted on the TVP2 Channel. Viewers can vote until the 4th of January.

MiniMini is an educational channel, which emits programmes without violence and aggression. It has movies, series and programs for learning foreign languages, alphabet and basics of mathematics in its schedule.

The channel regularly airs childrens’ favourite characters like: Maisy, Bob the Builder, Peppa Pig and charakters from the Sesamee Street. A friendly Goldfish is the symbol of the channel MiniMini.
