In 2008, we have created for Sony an application called Psychotest, which is available on the website www.Sony.pl and helps users to define their needs and preferences regarding Sony’s products, by answering 15 simple questions.
Depending on the answers, users were classified into 6 personality profiles, which were assigned to specific products . Therefore, users were choosing their ideal product from the group of 2-3 suggested items and not from the whole range of Sony’s products. The selection process was now much easier and quicker. The content of the application is editable (xml).
In 2009, for the project Psychotest II, we have implemented an upgrade of the application enhancing its functionality and updating it with every Sony product (increasing the number of categories from 5 to 10). In 2010, for the project Psychotest III, we have implemented another upgrade and have created an universal version of the application that can be used on other markets that Sony is operating. We are keeping our fingers crossed for the international success of our project. We were responsible for the visual aspect and for programming of the application. The application has been prepared in Flash and Flex technologies.
