Rockstar Energy Drink, a PepsiCo brand, has launched a digital image-and-sales campaign promoting the première of the film ‘Venom’. Rockstar Energy Drink has prepared a limited edition of Rockstar Venom cans in two basic flavours: Rockstar Original and Rockstar Xdurance. The advertising agency Biuro Podróży Reklamy is responsible for organizing the digital campaign.
‘Venom’, distributed by Sony Pictures Entertainment, tells the story of one of Marvel’s most enigmatic and complex characters. When Eddie Brock acquires the powers of a symbiote, he is forced to release Venom, his alter-ego, to save his own life.
The task of Biuro Podróży Reklamy was to produce clips promoting both the film and the limited edition of Rockstar Venom products. The main theme of the clips was combining the world of Rockstar Energy Drink with the dark sci-fi atmosphere present in the film. Advertising creations have been broadcast on platforms such as Facebook, YouTube and Instagram. Limited editions of Rockstar drink cans decorated with a Venom graphic are already available at the point of sale.
The digital campaign will last throughout October. The target group are young people living in big cities.

The digital campaign will be run alongside offline promotional activities conducted by PepsiCo, including using POS materials and a competition organised in cooperation with the Helios Cinema network. The campaign is also planned to include cooperation with influencers who will promote Rockstar Venom on their social media channels.
Biuro Podróży Reklamy has been cooperating with Rockstar Energy Drink since December 2017, when it won a tender organized by PepsiCo. The agency was responsible for many promotional activities, including organizing and implementing the digital communication strategy of the Rockstar brand, providing social media channel services, as well as implementing dedicated advertising campaigns and digital activations.
The Rockstar Energy Drink brand was created in 1998 in the United States. It is currently available in 25 countries around the world, offering as many as 21 different flavours of the drink. The Rockstar energy drink has been present on the Polish market since 2012. Rockstar Energy Drink is a brand firmly rooted in extreme sports, and it cooperates with top athletes practising various extreme sports. The brand’s motto is “Party like a Rockstar”, which reflects the nature of the brand targeted at consumers seeking new stimuli and energy to lead active lifestyles.
